Introducing Articheck 3.0 – smarter, faster, more secure tools to help you reduce risk when handling artwork

Articheck 3.0 beta is now available in the web app!

Our team has been hard at work behind the scenes making significant architectural improvements to our software. These changes are designed to boost the overall performance, stability, and security of our platform.

While you may notice a few subtle updates to the user interface, the real magic lies in the foundation we’ve laid. These enhancements mean that Articheck will not only run smoother and faster but also allow us to introduce some truly exciting new features (more on those later) and also release an app to other operating systems, such as Android (stay tuned for future announcements).

What’s new in Articheck 3.0?

That’s not all. We’ve also listened to your feedback and developed some highly requested features that are now available in this new version of our web app.

Improved image editing and annotations

Your favourite image editing tools from our iOS app are now also available in web 3.0! Upload detail images to capture more condition information exactly as you see it and use freehand shape tools to add annotations with greater precision.

Modular condition reporting

In 3.0 you can now skip directly to specific sections to make changes, saving you time if you don’t need to update every page of your report. Only have images to add? Go direct to the images section, upload, and save.

If you have multiple changes to make, or want to be guided by the template, you can still update the entire report in one go, just like in our classic web app, by clicking the update button.

How do I access Articheck 3.0?

To use this new version of our web app, click the 3.0 toggle in the top menu bar.

We’re phasing 3.0 into accounts gradually over the next three months so don’t panic if you don’t yet see the toggle button. As soon as it’s available in your account, we’ll be in touch and you’ll be able to use 3.0 and enjoy an enhanced Articheck experience.

Share your feedback

Articheck 3.0 is currently in beta stage, which means it’s been through extensive testing by our dedicated team (and a number of external testers) and is ready to be released to users.

As with any beta release, we expect to identify a small number of minor bugs as more users start exploring this new version of our web app. Our diligent Customer Success and Development teams are on hand to resolve any issues swiftly, answer your questions, and ensure your experience with our product is seamless and enjoyable.

We’re not just listening to what you have to say, we’re acting on it too. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s on our roadmap for Articheck 3.0 in 2025:

Transfer of report ownership. Seamlessly transfer ownership of reports to other users and organisations.
New API and workflow integrations. Easily slot Articheck functionality into your workflows with upgraded APIs and connectors.
Upgrade report template. Upgrade the template type, e.g. switch from ‘Painting – Basic’ to ‘Painting – Standard’, for enhanced functionality.
Transit Hub gets even better. A whole host of improvements to Transit Hub and other features to make Articheck easier and more powerful.

Articheck 3.0 FAQs

I don’t see 3.0 in my Articheck account

If you don’t see the 3.0 toggle in the top menu bar, that means it hasn’t been switched on in your account yet. We’re phasing 3.0 into accounts gradually over the next three months so just hold tight – you can keep using all our standard web app features in the meantime – and the button to access 3.0 will appear very soon.

Do I have to pay extra to use Articheck 3.0?

No, Articheck 3.0 is a new release of our web app and is available to all subscription levels at no extra cost.

Can I go back to using the old Articheck app?

Yes. You can toggle between 3.0 and the old version of the web app at any time.

In the future, we will discontinue usage of the old web app and permanently switch all accounts to Articheck 3.0. We’ll let you know in advance when this is scheduled to happen.

Will the switch affect my data/reports already in Articheck?

In Articheck 3.0, you’ll have full access to all your reports and account data just like in our old web app. No need to transfer any information across, your reports will be ready and waiting as soon as you switch.

You can also continue using our old web app at any time through the usual link. The two apps are cross-compatible, meaning reports made in our old web app will be available in 3.0 and vice-versa – you’ll always have access to all your reports regardless of which app version you use.

My Articheck account is connected to another software via API, will that work in 3.0?

Yes, you can continue using our API integrations without interruption in Articheck 3.0.

My organisation account includes custom features developed specifically for our workflows and processes, will that work in 3.0?

Yes, all custom development and features will be available in your organisation account in Articheck 3.0. For more information on when 3.0 will be available in your account, please contact us.
